U.S. Senator Deb Fischer spoke yesterday of the president's sequestration plan, yes his plan the one he encouraged and signed in 2011. She also takes on the release of federal illegal immigrant prisoners and Secretary Vilsack's threats on reducing meat inspectors.
Fischer has settled in to her job and will be one of the few people in Washington that we will be able to rely on to continue to make sense.

So far, of Nebraska's five member Congressional delegation, Senator Fischer's comments on the disgusting sequester situation have been the most cogent and forceful. Perhaps the other four should take notes!!!!!
