The local scumbag thief and failed former State Senator Brenda Council has at least been temporarily relegated to our past Objective Conservative Hall of Shame Archives (available on lower far left column) as we in our continued bipartisan efforts replace her with U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID) who was arrested for Driving Under the Influence in Virginia early Sunday Morning December 23. Over the years, we've suggested to innumerable political types of high elected office that they should never drive their own cars not only because many are quite capable of doing stupid things like this but also because even if it isn't a DUI issue it only takes one person to say "You were here and you did this" to end a career.
They will never learn and we have no sympathy.

I think the bigger issue is elected officials opting to spend the Christmas Holiday in DC rather than going home to their family and constituents. Whatever the excuse, the Senate vacated DC for the Hawaii funeral before the House vacated due to a lack of desire to negotiate in good faith by our Hawaiian President.
There was no reason for this Senator not to be at home in Idaho other than he has lost sight of where he came from. That should always be the sign that it is time to leave elected office.
