It is becoming more and more apparent that our country's legislators (we use the term loosely) are going to give in to Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell and the current occupant of the White House on extending the national debt. More and more it sounds like the McConnell plan of raising the debt and allowing three non-meaningful votes by Republicans over the next 16 months will pass.In other words, virtually nothing will be done to stop the hemorrhaging. Obama will skate free having once again never proposed any plan. Republicans other than those brave ones who got elected in 2010 and a few other principled ones will be ignored.
We wonder how well the credit rating agencies will ultimately respond to this non-solution solution which only moves our nation further down the rails to a train wreck? It's more than getting past August 2nd and the American public will find out before long.

I sure hope you're wrong. What a betrayal of what we worked for-the republicans will be done. They can resolve this and take the lead if they use common sense...Goodness how dumb are they?? We cannot survive another 4 years of barry obama and the boys better grow up and fight hard.
