Somehow we wonder how it is that Republican State Auditor Mike Foley and Republican head of Nebraska's Administrative Services Carlos Castillo find it necessary to start a pissing contest at the kickoff of the fall election campaign? Frankly, if anyone has ever heard of HIPPA, they might question why Foley feels he needs names and personal information to do his audit. Regardless of who is right in the end, such political infighting doesn't look good for Governor Heineman whom one would also think would have better control over his elected brother Foley and his appointed Carlos Castillo. There issues should have been handed behind closed doors or after November 2.Bad timing guys......

The Legislature's Performance Audit Committee voted to support this audit and they are working closely with Auditor Foley on this. Compared to most other states across the nation, Nebraska taxpayers and the state employees who pay a small portion of the premium are both getting hosed on these rates BCBS charges, thus, the reason for this audit the Legislature and Foley want.
Who sits on the Legislative performance audit committee?
