Democrat Attack Dog Plays Pawn to Tom White

In today's 'We get e-mail' category we get one from esteemed South Omaha State Senator Jeremy Nordquist. For those of you who may be unaware, and given Nordquist's abilities and talents that's understandable, Nordquist is the useful idiot and future of the Nebraska Democratic Party.

Nordquist has been spewing Judas Ben Nelson's anti-Heineman effort in hope of tarnishing the Governor's reputation so that Ben can seek and get re-elected to another term in 2012. Nordquist would be just as well to run himself given Judas' likelihood of re-election.

Now, Nordquist is promoting his new hero, Tom White. Nordquist writes us pleading for money so poor Tom can run ads to compete with Lee Terry. White has the money to run ads but needs to save enough to be competitive when folks really start thinking about the election.

In the interim, Nordquist is building his credentials as a Democrat and being moved around the chess board like a pawn.

Here's part of his plea:

"$9,282 TO GO BEFORE TOM WHITE CAN GET ON THE AIR – CONTRIBUTE NOW

On Saturday morning, my dog Wilson and I joined Tom White and volunteers at the Arrows to Aerospace Parade in Bellevue. Tom is one of the most energetic campaigners I've ever seen – he spent the parade crisscrossing the street to shake as many hands as possible.

And he got a great response. It's clear that people want someone in Congress with the energy and dedication to fight for them.

Lee Terry's first ad went up on TV today, and he'll be using all the cash he's raised from special interests to mislead voters about his decade in Congress and Tom's record.

Tom's campaign team told me that they have a great ad ready to go, and what they raise this week will determine when they can put it on the air. Tom's raised over $10,000 since his email last Thursday, but he needs a total of $20,000 before the urgent media-buy deadline on Friday.

Can you chip in right now?

Tom was one of my first supporters when I ran for Legislature, and as colleagues in the Unicameral we’ve worked together for good jobs, strong schools, and accountability in government.

Tom has always stood up for those who don’t have a voice in the halls of power: seniors trying to make ends meet, young people struggling to afford health insurance, working families like the ones I represent in South Omaha.

Please, click below to give what you can before the urgent media-buy deadline. Generous contributions of $25 or more are greatly needed, but even a gift of $10 will go a long way.

Thanks

Jeremy Nordquist

Nordquist is a tool. All he does is cause problems for the people doing work at the Capitol. He is sending letters left and, well left, demanding information on programs and funding. It looks like he is trying to find where the state isn't getting "FREE FEDERAL" monies in programs that REQUIRE a state match.

Put it another way, he wants Nebraskans to be TAXED more so they can get more "FREE SERVICES" on the backs of those who actually pay taxes.

All Nebraskans who pay taxes should shudder at the thought of Nordquist and his pal Mello being the future of anything.

I hope the Conservative Senators put a beat down on them this year.
